Scottsboro City Schools will conduct a public hearing regarding Internet safety and content filtering as proposed by the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA). This meeting will include discussion on Internet safety, education to minors, cyber bullying, and the filtering policy of Scottsboro City Schools.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, at the Page Administration Building beginning at 3:00 p.m.

The Scottsboro City Schools Child Nutrition Program will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2024-25 school year. Under this provision, all Scottsboro City Schools will provide FREE breakfast and FREE lunch to all enrolled students. Students who choose to purchase á la carte items (water, chips, ice cream, etc.) will need to have money in their student accounts, as these items are not included in the provision. It will not be necessary for families to complete the Free & Reduced-Priced Meals Application for the 2024-25 school year to determine eligibility.
